The crowd, many of them who drove from Santa Monica to see their friend Lisa Cee, was not disappointed at the Blue Cafe on this Blamy Friday night. As they began to fill the club with music Lisa Cee strode confidently to the stage and belted out the first few verses and then riveted the Blue Cafe audience with her sensual swaying motions as B.R. tore up the fretboard with his strat blasting through a Matchless amp. The song was "Snatch it Back and Hold it" and she had everyone's full attention. The highlight was her rendition of Janis Joplins "Piece of my Heart." With looks better than Janis by a power of ten and the same emotional involvement with her lyrics, one could state that "Janis Lives"
